Rab Expetittion 800 Mitts mitts are designed for very cold conditions and high mountain expeditions.

The Expedition 8000 Mitts mitt provides the highly sought after warmth of your hands at high altitude and polar expeditions.

Abrasion resistant panels on the palm and fingertips that increase durability and simple wrist straps that ensure that gloves are not lost when performing more complex tasks. A wide opening of the cuff makes the mitten easy to put on and take off and makes it ideal for use in extreme low weight conditions or for emergencies in alpine climbing or mountain climbing in winter.

FP Hydrophobic Down

Fill Power (FP) is a measure of the expansion ability (lofting) of down. Higher FP  down traps more air is warmer for its weight. Hydrophobic downs han been treated to absorb less water and dries faster than standard down, helping to retain loft and warmth in damp conditions. The Responsible Down Standard (R.D.S) ensures the downs comes from ducks and geese well treated with an audited chain of custody from the farm to the product.
