MICROLIGHT VEST WOMEN RAB

A mini stitch-through baffle construction and a minimal, uncluttered design make the Microlight Vest ideal for use as a layering piece for alpine climbers, or an adaptable stand-alone vest for day-to-day use.

78 g. (UK 12) of 750FP Hydrophobic Down provides excellent warmth without compromising on weight, and is protected by a breathable and windproof Pertex® Microlight outer fabric. The Microlight Vest is a technically featured piece, with YKK zipped pockets throughout, including a chest pocket which doubles as an integrated stuff sack for increased packability. Lycra® bound armholes and a hem drawcord ensure a secure fit.

TECHNOLOGIES:

Pertex® Microlight

It is a dense weave and very dense mesh, very lightweight, very durable, which does not allow the entrance is down and wind resistant. For this reason it protects from rain and light snowfall and resist the severities of daily use.

FP Hydrophobic Down

Fill Power (FP) is a measure of the expansion ability (lofting) of down. Higher FP  down traps more air is warmer for its weight.

Hydrophobic downs han been treated to absorb less water and dries faster than standard down, helping to retain loft and warmth in damp conditions.

The Responsible Down Standard (R.D.S) ensures the downs comes from ducks and geese well treated with an audited chain of custody from the farm to the product.
