Akyra is a comfortable and flexible trail running shoe, designed to be used in long distances, ultra trails, ultra marathons or trainings. A shoe with extreme cushioning and protection.

FEATURES:

• Adopts an enveloping and comfortable top shape in 3 layers.
• Comfort, thanks to the seamless construction.
• Flexibility of the structure thanks to the innovative MicroLite Skeleton ™ application that follows the movement of the foot dynamically in the race.
• Guaranteed protection with the Flex-Guard ™ microfibre structure that keeps the lightness and provides a barrier against abrasion caused by rubbing.
• Sole developed by the I&D department of La Sportiva, which has the new FriXion XT adhesive band with Impact Brake System and it has the exclusive Trail Rocker ™ system that favors the natural support "external heel internal tip" of the foot in the race.

Ortholite Mountain Running

The models of the Mountain Runnig collection adopt the exclusive La Sportiva By Ortholite® insoles, made in two different thicknesses. Both models can be found in the version for men and women with materials of different densities.

• It favors the elimination of sweat keeping the foot dry.
• Longer duration in time thanks to a technology that prevents excessive compression of the material.
• Anti-bacterial and washable treatment for better foot hygiene.
  

All Grounds

Versatile sole, ideal for all types of terrains including stone, pots, grass, moss and mud. Ideal for running in wet or dry terrain. Incorporates the Impact Brake System.

Frixion Red

The La Sportiva FriXion® sole compounds are created in order to create a contact area with different sealing parameters and durability depending on the type of use and the ground on which La Sportiva footwear is used. The FriXion range consists of 5 types of compounds used in mountain running and climbing shoes.

The Frixion Red combines optimal adhesion, resistance to use and absorption of impacts. It is used in versatile soles in dual compound.

Eva inyectada

Manufacture with a high degree of padding and high degree of elasticity. These characteristics provide an authentic "push off" during the propulsion phase while running, these models being injected in the midsoles, ideal for use in off-road trails. On the other hand, the injection of the midsole reduces the "squash" effect of the EVA over time, allowing the product to maintain the same original properties during the passage of time and achieving a high durability. The La Sportiva Mountain Running® footwear adopts 3 different types of midsole depending on the style and level of performance.

Impact Brake System

Impact Brake System is the innovative system applied to the outsole that absorbs impact, helps with traction and retains in the descent. Conceived and developed in the R & D department of La Sportiva®, in collaboration with Vibram®, this sole presents real advantages to the practitioners, reducing the negative impact with the ground thanks to the particular inclination of the sole studs.
