TECHNOLOGIES:

Unicore

Amazing process of sticking the soul and the sheath of the rope without modifying its flexibility characteristics. If the sheath is cut or torn, the core and the sheath remain attached.

Dry Cover

A process whereby every individual sheath strand receives a chemical treatment before the rope is manufactured. The treatment is hydrophobic, increases abrasion resistance and is polymerised at high temperatures. The polymerisation process together with every strand being coated individually increases the life of the treatment.
This treatment makes ropes more resistant against abrasion, repeated falls, heat, dust, moisture and vastly increases their durability.

A Dry Cover treated rope is:

  • More dust and moisture resistant.
  • More abrasion resistant.
  • Designed to maintain its suppleness in belay devices over time.

Golden Dry

Each wire of the core and the sheath is treated with a hydrophobic chemical compound before the rope is made. This chemical compound is polymerized at high temperature. The durability of this treatment is due to the polymerization but also to the individual treatment of each wire before the manufacture of the rope. A protected rope Golden Dry it is the set of 2 treatments: to the treatment of the sheath Dry Cover is added the treatment of the soul. This gives a rope with amazing waterproof properties and incredibly durable. The features are:

  • More resistance to frost and water.
  • Very low weight gain in wet conditions.
  • Better fluidity of the rope as it passes through carabiners and belay devices.
  • Better resistance to abrasion in conventional use.

Thermo Fluid

This treatment stabilizes the fibers of the sheath and makes them more homogeneous. The result is a more compact and manageable rope.
