The warmest in the Ascent range, the Ascent 1100 is a down-filled sleeping bag that provides reliable protection in cold winter conditions. Designed specifically for regular outdoor use, this is ideal for those buying their first down sleeping bag for serious winter use. Using a highly durable Pertex® Quantum outer fabric, the Ascent 1100 sleeping bag is filled with 1100 g. of 650FP ethically sourced European Duck Down. As with all Rab down insulated bags, it is hand filled in Derbyshire using Hydrophobic Down developed in conjunction with Nikwax®.

FP Hydrophobic Down

Fill Power (FP) is a measure of the expansion ability (lofting) of down. Higher FP  down traps more air is warmer for its weight.

Hydrophobic downs han been treated to absorb less water and dries faster than standard down, helping to retain loft and warmth in damp conditions.

The Responsible Down Standard (R.D.S) ensures the downs comes from ducks and geese well treated with an audited chain of custody from the farm to the product.
